The Keys of the Kingdom of Heaven (part 2): 'important keys to use'
If you have not read the first part of this teaching series, I strongly advise that you do so in order to better understand this post.
In this world or on this Earth, there are doors through which things, spirits and people enter and exit.Some of those doors are visible to the naked eye and some are not visible to the naked eye.
Everything and everyone that exists on Earth (whether it is a situation, a person, a spirit, an angel, a human being, a promotion,a marriage,sin,etc..) came in through a door. Anything that exits the Earth, also exits through a door.
Even Hell has doors. In Matthew 16:18, Jesus said that the gates of Hell shall not prevail against it. Concerning the Keys of Death and Hell, Jesus is the only one to have them (ref. Revelation 1:18).
Keys to open the doors that are on Earth were given to the Church. Jesus did not give them to the world, He did not give them to the unbelievers. He gave them to the Church. This is one of the reasons why the Church is the most powerful institution on Earth. Not the United Nations or any government but the Church.
In spite of holding a demonic influence on many, Satan does not even have the keys of the doors on Earth. Satan does not even have the keys of Hades and Hell. As a Christian, being aware of such reality will make you realise the dominance you have over Satan, sin, life circumstances and the world.
In spite of the fact that Jesus gifted the keys of the Kingdom of Heaven to the Church, many Christians live defeated because of the following reasons:

a) They don’t know that they have the keys of the Kingdom of Heaven.
b) They may know about the keys but they don’t use them.
Have you ever seen a young child ,crying in front of a locked door, and hoping that the door opens while he actually has the key to open the door?
That’s how many Christians are living. Their prayers are turned into a ‘begging circus’ where they beg for marriage, cars, jobs, breakthroughs and all sorts of requests …instead of commanding those things into existence in their lives.
Have you ever seen a person inside a house complaining about the cold temperature coming from outside because their house door is open? The person complains while he/she could just get up and close the door.
This is another way that many Christians are living. There are many intrusive, anti-destiny, and unauthorized things and people that are coming in the lives of many Christians. Those same Christians often wonder: ‘why are those bad things often happening in my life? Why am I always in a relationship with abusive men? Why do I always get employed in exploitative organisations?...
In reality, Jesus gave us keys to lock the doors so that such things remain out of our lives.
If we use the keys that Jesus gave us, we will have less spiritual beggars in the Church, and there will be a lot less counseling sessions in Churches.
Satan and his followers do not have the Keys of the kingdom of Heaven and they use devices to open doors through witchcraft. Robbers, who do not have keys to enter a place, use devices to open doors. Similarly, agents of darkness (witches, wizards, witch doctors,all those who practice witchcraft and magic arts, etc..) use devices to illegally open and close doors on Earth. Those devices are found in all the strange rituals that they practice. They have to go through great lengths because they do not have keys.
In the following section, I will list some of the keys that God has given us to open doors:
Meditating the Book of the Law Day and Night to open doors of success
In Joshua 1:8, the Bible states:
‘This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.’
In Psalm 1:1-3, the Bible states the following:
‘Blessed is the one
who does not walk in step with the wicked
or stand in the way that sinners take
or sit in the company of mockers,
but whose delight is in the law of the Lord,
and who meditates on his law day and night.
That person is like a tree planted by streams of water,
which yields its fruit in season
and whose leaf does not wither—
whatever they do prospers.’
The book of the Law is made of the following: ‘Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, Deuteronomy.’
The meditation of the book of the Law Day and Night opens doors of continual success.
Being taught by God opens the door for Peace
In Isaiah 54:13, the Bible states:
‘All your children will be taught by the Lord,
and great will be their peace.’
In John 14:23-27 the Bible states:
‘Jesus replied, “Anyone who loves me will obey my teaching. My Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them. Anyone who does not love me will not obey my teaching. These words you hear are not my own; they belong to the Father who sent me.
“All this I have spoken while still with you. But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you. Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.’
Notice that in Isaiah 54:13, the Bible mentions that Peace is preceded by being ‘taught by the Lord’. In John 14:27, Jesus leaves His Peace to His disciples. He is not leaving His Peace to everyone but to His disciples. And His disciples are the people who obey His teachings.
Notice as well that the passage of John 14:27 is spoken within a context where Jesus clearly places an emphasis on obeying his teachings and on the fact that the Holy Spirit will also teach His disciples. Jesus clearly said that those who love Him will obey His teachings. Since He was speaking to His disciples (those who obey His teachings), He could also leave His Peace to them.
The obedience to the teachings of the Lord opens the door to the Peace of God.
Interestingly, he mentions that the world can also give a form of different peace. When people abide to the teachings of the world, they also receive a false form of peace.
In most cases, when married couples are struggling to maintain their marriages, it is because one party or both parties are refusing to obey the teachings of God concerning their roles as either a husband or a wife. Such refusal to obey God’s teachings eventually leads to a lack of peace in marriage.
The teachings of God can be applied in all areas of life: marriage, work, ministry, politics, business and many areas.
Furthermore, the obedience to the teachings of the Lord can also help in deliverance against demonic spirits, thus causing spiritual peace and even peaceful sleep free from demonic nightmares.
A gift opens the door to expansion
In proverbs 18:16, the Bible states: ‘A man's gift maketh room for him, and bringeth him before great men.’
A gift could be a God given inner talent or even something tangible that we give to others (such a gift does not include bribes since God is against bribes). By exercising our talents and handing out gifts, we open the door to expansion.
Excellence opens the door to visibility at the highest stage
In Proverbs 22:29, the Bible states:
‘Do you see someone skilled in their work? They will serve before kings; they will not serve before officials of low rank.’
Excellence opens the door to visibility. Averageness or mediocrity hold many things in obscurity.
Honoring parents opens the door to long life
“Honor your father and your mother, so that you may live long in the land the Lord your God is giving you.’ (Exodus 20:12)
Many people see their lives being threatened by adverse and dangerous circumstances simply because they fail to honor their parents. Passage of Exodus 20:12 is a key opening the doors to good health and circumstances favoring protection and longevity.
There are many other keys and the above mentioned keys are examples of the inheritance God gave us.
By using those keys, a Christian can become a commander instead of being a beggar. Jesus never called us in His Kingdom to act as beggars in the Kingdom. He gave us authority, therefore let us those keys to open the doors that ought to be opened.
