The life Jesus calls us to live and pursue, is an adventure filled with unimaginable surprises , awesome detours and deep transformations reachable through a close fellowship with Him and through effective service towards others. The Apostle Paul, once admonished one of his mentees, Timothy, to wear the values of our calling as a soldier would wear war garments.
Though, God reserves a life of purpose for us, the Enemy prepares himself to harden our journey by waging a war. Any experienced soldier, who has served in war time, fully understands the vital values of self-discipline and submission to orders without which any serving officer would minimize his/her life expectancy on the field of war.
Thirty-four devotional insights ,included in this book, guide us on a journey through various subjects navigating between sin, choices, trials, courage, decision, righteousness, prayer and ‘out the box’ thinking. Discipline and practice distinguish the true followers from the 'talkers'.
A MIND FREE FROM MONEY DEPENDENCY
Money is important but not essential. In a world dominated by set rules influenced by 'gold and silver', finding ourselves financially limited could easily hamper our prospects to achieve anything. In most cases, people with dreams and visions allocate to money the initial power to start anything. Without denying the value of money, we can fairly discover other 'life currencies' , different than money, enabling us to access our dreams and needs in a society with a mindset extremely reliant on finances. Rich or poor, we will one day face situations where money will fail to rescue us and on this special occasion, our mindset will need a reboot and the creativity to thrive within our limits. An old well known adage says: 'Money answers all things', but the same adage fails to confirm if 'money holds the right answers to all things.' Let's release ourselves from the limits imposed by the world financial system.
