LOOK OUT FOR TIME WASTING TACTICS

In life, there are many things that can be lost and restored.

However, time is one thing that can not be restored nor reversed.

In Daniel 10, a very interesting story depicts an incident where an angel was commissioned to deliver a message to Daniel. However, on his way to Daniel , he got delayed by the demonic principality of the Persian Kingdom. As a result, a message that was supposed to arrive in a day, ended up arriving after 21 days.

Let me be clear on one thing: ‘the devil does not like me, he does not like you. Not even a bit.’

If the devil cannot kill you, he will try to delay you.

Since we know that Jesus is coming soon, we need to be more vigilant with our time or we will run the risk of seeing our days being spent on either nothing or on the wrong things. In Ephesians 5:15-16, Paul wrote:

‘Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil.’

When it comes to time, a wise person is careful and makes the most of every opportunity.

One of the tactics of the devil consist in delaying Christians through challenges, distractions and wrong connections.

The challenges that the devil sends refer to all sorts of negative events such as sicknesses, a crisis. Ect..

The distractions consist in all activities that look good but are not necessary to accomplish the destiny that God has set for our lives. Those distractions could include a well paid job, continuous social media reels, and various activities that are easy to embrace because they look good but lack the nature of being the ‘right’ thing to do. There is a difference between the right thing and a good thing.

And then, there are wrong connections. Though we have to be at peace with everybody, we do not have to include everybody in our close circle. Sometimes, a wrong connection can have the capacity to slow us down on our path to achieve our God given destiny.

Why is this post important?

It is important to remember that The Lord Jesus is about to come and there is not enough time left. With the little time left, we need to finish the tasks that God has given us in our families, career, ministry and in many other areas. On Judgement Day, many people will end up facing God with no good reports due to constant demonic delays that would have occurred in their lives. Therefore, we cannot allow the devil to slow us down through his devices.
