How to escape the deception of the false rapture date
Recently, the world went ablaze with the false prophecy claiming that the rapture would occur in September 2025.
Some false prophet was the person stirring the false prophecy while dragging with him a good number of unsuspecting and deceived people. The false prophecy got the internet abuzz up to the point where even the BBC attempted to broadcast the false rapture event…
It is important that I discuss this subject because the false prophecy even led some deceived people into selling their cars, resigning from their jobs and even selling their houses.
By applying the power of ‘Believing in Jesus’, it becomes possible to escape such deception.
First, it is interesting to note that the false prophet, and many others who were deceived, claimed that an angel appeared to them and announced the date of the rapture.
I am personally convinced that those deceived people heard from that angel. And that angel was not an angel from God. That angel is a fallen angel who became a demon.
In 2 Corinthians 11:14, the Bible states: ‘ And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light.’
We know that Satan is a defeated foe. However, the Bible never said that we should underestimate his abilities. Many Christians wrongly assume that the enemy can never talk to them.
The Bible is very clear: ‘Satan can masquerade as an angel of light.’
Paul acknowledged the possibility that an angel would try to preach a gospel different from the one we have received from the Church founding fathers. He wrote in Galatians 1:8:
‘ But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let them be under God’s curse! As we have already said, so now I say again: If anybody is preaching to you a gospel other than what you accepted, let them be under God’s curse!’
And to all my readers, please take note of this: ‘ the incident that occurred with the false rapture date is the beginning of many deceptions and false prophecies that will happen.’ Jesus warned us in Luke 21:8 where He said:
‘“Take heed that you not be deceived. For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am He,’ and, ‘The time has drawn near.’ Therefore do not go after them.’
Have you read the above passage?
Have you noticed that Jesus warned us that many people will claim that ‘the time has drawn near’ ?
That’s exactly what that false prophet did with his false rapture claim and many more will do the same.
Here is a question: ‘How can we escape from falling into the deception of a false rapture date?’
The test of ‘believing in Jesus’
The best and most powerful way to escape falling into the deception of believing in a false rapture date is contained in the power of believing in Jesus.
In Matthew 24:36, Jesus said:
‘But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son,but only the Father.’
In this case, it is either we believe in Jesus or we don’t.
A person ,who claims to know the exact date of the rapture, does not believe in Jesus. That person believes in many things and entities and Jesus is not one of them.
As we are entering the birthpain of the end, this is going to be a serious test for those who don’t really believe in Jesus' words.
If you believe fully (without going to the right or the left) in Jesus' words, you will not be deceived by a false rapture date prophecy.
