Test the spirits

“Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world. By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, and every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you heard was coming and now is in the world already.”

(1 John 4:1-4)

One of the reasons why many of us fall for the lies of the enemy is because we don’t bother to test the spirits that come in contact with us and who claim to either be God or to talk on behalf of God.

If I had to incorporate the current times into the Biblical clock, I would say that we are the stage found in Matthew 24:4-8. The stage is characterized by wars, famine and false messiahs.

As I write this message, Israel is in full preparation for the third Temple and there is strong confirmation from respected Rabbis that a ‘messiah’ has arrived. Of course, it is not the real messiah, it is a false messiah. Several respected Rabbis are claiming that they have already been in contact with the ‘messiah’ who is waiting for the right time to reveal himself. However, such rumors should alert us of the fact that we are in the stage of Matthew 24.

As we advance towards 2023, more false prophets, false dreams, false visions and false messiahs will appear. Their main goal will consist in inducing people towards a certain direction.

This is why we must all test the spirits to see if they are coming from God. Here are four ways you can test the validity or veracity of words, visions, prophecies or dreams coming to you from the supernatural realm:

Find out if the spirit confesses that Jesus came in the flesh: “ As the Apostle John mentioned, a demonic or an antichrist spirit will not confess that Jesus came in the flesh. False messiahs will never confess that Jesus came in the flesh because it would contradict their narrative in which Jesus never came on Earth in the flesh at the first place.

In order to be successful, a false messiah needs to convince people that he is Jesus incarnated in the flesh. If he confesses that Jesus came before in the flesh, then it would also mean that the New Testament is true. If the New Testament is true, it would also mean that Jesus will come back for the second time in the clouds and at the eyesight of everyone and not on earth like the false messiah would. This is why the antichrist and the false messiah need to deny that Jesus ever came in the flesh before.

The words from the devil will often fail the test of Divine contradiction: “ The devil and his servant spirits (whether human or demonic) will not always come with a full blatant and obvious lie.

The devil likes to come with a truth that is twisted. In other words, the devil will come with a statement that has 90% of truth and 10% of lie. In order to win over people, he needs to twist a statement previously made by God. However, if you take the time to analyze a deceiving speech by the devil or by one of his servants, you will realize that it contains a major contradiction to a statement that God had previously made. A good example can be found in the temptation of the Garden of Eden in Genesis 3.

Take the time to assess before acting: “ as mentioned earlier, demonic antichrist mainly speak to induce their listeners into an action as the serpent did with Adam and Eve in Genesis 3.

If you read the story of the fall in Genesis 3, you will notice that the serpent intends on inducing Eve and Adam to act very quickly by eating the forbidden fruit. However, if Adam and Eve had taken the time to assess what the serpent said or if they had consulted God about what the serpent said, they could have gotten a greater chance to escape the trap built by the serpent.

When the enemy comes and attacks you with a deceptive speech, he is afraid that you will take a step back to assess what he said. Because by taking the time to examine his speech, you will likely find the pockets of lies included in his speech.

Here is one more thing:

One of the best ways for the antichrist to deceive and convince people will be done through the poverty and despair of the people. The year 2023 will bring more economic and security chaos at global level. America will not be spared in 2023 (I have to mention this so that the American Church gets on her knees and prays against the disaster that the enemy is planning against the American economy).

You see, the false messiahs and antichrists will rise in a time where desolation and famine will be rampant. In order to be successful, the false messiahs, the false prophets and the antichrist will need the environment of despair produced by economic poverty and global chaos. Such environment will make it easy for them to be accepted. If the people of God succeed in mastering the principles of Biblical prosperity, then they will stand a greater chance to turn down the false messiahs coming.
