What does Hell really look like?
Regardless of how many times you have read your Bible, you will only find two outcomes reflecting our future eternity: ‘Eternity into life and eternity into Hell.’ There is no middle outcome or a third way. And it is very important that I describe Hell because in the past decades, the Church has been invaded by motivational speakers who masqueraded as pastors and who redefined Hell as a soft zone where people are simply separated from God. Hell is more than an obvious separation from God. I think that the softening of the definition of Hell by many pastors has rendered the concept of Hell as a place where people can still breathe and survive… In the late 90’s and in the early 2000’s, there was a rise in new preachers who focused on preaching solely ‘feel good messages’.
